Atlas Griffith, and Cory & Emma will be starting off the night with lessons and then it’s PARTY TIME! Grab your friends, come on out and join the fun!

Very excited to be hosting this as a trial event, with the aim of it turning into a regular event!
Start your week off the right way, with dancing!
Beginner west coast swing class from 8pm to 9pm taught by local pros Andrew and Bev
Social dance starting at 9pm with DJ Andrew
We will also have a hustle demo by Rob and Carrie!
Cost: free!! (who doesn’t love free stuff?!) but please support the venue by purchasing a drink at the bar or something from the menu.
Venue: Rio Bar & Grill is conveniently located downtown, 2 blocks north of the 7th/8th st SW C-Train stations. Free parking after 6pm in the surrounding streets. This venue hosts a popular weekly latin dance night on Thursdays and other dance events.
Come and dance, have a drink, meet some new people and celebrate the vibrant west coast swing community in Calgary!

Party time this Friday! Well….we can’t really celebrate Spring weather but we CAN celebrate a whole lot of cool things going on in our WCS community! Trace & Darla got married last Saturday – congratulations you two! Laurie & Tim brought home 3 Winning Eggs from Seattle Easter Swing, and Elizabeth has organized a Swing Dance Night at the Rio Bar and Grill starting May 20. Come join us this Friday to CELEBRATE, take a lesson, dance your feet off and PARTY with us!
