Join us for this special Spotlight Skills Workshop designed to help you build confidence—whether you’re stepping into a competitive spotlight or just dancing socially in public.

In this interactive session, we’ll cover:

• Floorcraft & Etiquette – how to navigate the floor smoothly and respectfully.
• Calming Nerves – practical techniques to ease performance jitters.
• Performance Skills – tips to carry yourself with presence and style.

This workshop is an excellent way to prepare for the upcoming Heliopolis Fun Jack & Jill event, taking place on October 20th.

No matter your level, you’ll leave with tools to feel confident and connected on the dance floor.

Join us on Friday, September 26th, for a great night of West Coast Swing Dancing!

7:30pm Group Lessons
8:30pm Social Dance
Entry is $15 (cash or e-transfer)

 Location: Ballroom & Country Dance Studio – 121C 17 Ave NE, Calgary

Beginner class will be taught by Jan & Emma!
Patterns 101 class will be covering pass variations and will be taught by Corey & Robyn!
Experienced class will be taught by Brandon & Neuczki!

Please bring clean indoor shoes/dance shoes. 
No partner or experience needed!
No pre-registration required, just drop in!

We had an amazing group of Canadian dancers at Desert City Swing! 🌵 (Plus our honorary Canadian pro instructors 😉). So many accomplishments, so much growth, and too many great dances to count!
