Two of our very own rocked it at Desert City Swing! Calgary’s own Corey and Emma came in First Place in Novice Strictly at this recent competition in Phoenix. We are so proud of them! Come out this Friday to celebrate and hear about their great weekend!
The dance community is something special! Have you ever heard anyone say that “dance has changed their life”? You may or may not have. But, what we do know is that we have a unique and wonderful opportunity to meet so many people that we wouldn’t have, had we not been dancing.
There isn’t a lot of places where you can come out on a Friday night, meet this many people, de-stress from the week, and hang out with a bunch of people that are all there just to have fun. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, what your political stance is, or anything else about your life. We just love to dance and love our social dance community! You are part of what makes that happen and we look forward to seeing you this Friday!
It’s so cool that we have many talented people in Calgary that come help us hone our dance skills! This week, Atlas & Kyla are on board to teach the Growing Westies group. As always, we have a New Westie’s lesson too that has been the launching pad for so many of our WCS dancers. Grab a friend and come on out! Lessons at 7:00 and the party starts at 8:30.
Atlas and Kyla will be joining us, teaching this Friday’s “Growing Westies’ group class at WCS Calgary. They’re promising to bring along something a little out of the ordinary and truly unique. “WCS Dancers share a common goal: We’d like to get further, faster and have more fun”.
