Flash Mob Classes Wednesday, Practice also, Saturday DE or DC

This Wednesday we have the International WCS Flash Mob 2015 class running from 6 – 8 pm at DancEnergy.
THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN.!!!!!
Great choreography, lots of laughs and fun!!!  Both Andrew and Gerald are teaching!!!!  A big group of dancers having great fun and learning lots.
We will be performing August 29 and then Sept 5. Two opportunities to join in.

And this Saturday we have 2 choices:
  • DancEnergy http://dancenergy.ca/ with a 2-Step lesson at 8 and then Ballroom, Latin, Country and Swing
  • DC Dance http://www.dcdanceclub.com where Keith is teaching a 2-step lesson at 7:30, then Keith plays a mix of Country and Swing.

Wednesday – FlashMob 6 – 8, Regular Practice 8 – 9 then dance, Friday Haysboro 7:30, Saturday Shok 7:00

A busy week for dance!!!
For the next 8 weeks Gerald and Andrew will be teaching the International Flash Mob Dance from 6 – 8 at DancEnergy.  Lots of technique will be weaved into the lesson so it will be a GREAT way to practice.
(the demo starts at around 4 minutes).  $40 for the 8 weeks or $8 per evening to drop in.  INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!!!!

We will continue with our regular Practice Wednesday from 8:00 til 9:00 and then attend the dance until 10:00 for only $5. Where: DancEnergy, 1305 33 st NE

WCSwing Calgarys lesson this Friday at 7:30 at Haysboro will REVOLVE (pun intended) around – turns and turn technique (drills and more drills), frame (and some drills here too), and hand hold as we teach you to move thru your dance.
BEGINNERS – And this week we have Dave​ taking care of all of your friends that are new to WCS and want to come out and try the dance. Please share this invite with your friends, family, coworkers, cashier at the store, kids, etc. This dance is for everyone!!
The dance starts at 8:30.

This Friday Dave and Laurie will review TWO of the great techniques taught at ExtremeSwing.ca. Robert Royston shared Resisted Release (a feature of connection) and Deborah Szekely shared her technique for ‘6 and ah 1’. Dave and Laurie will tie these together and present them in moves you already know. Its going to be great fun!!

Also, put June 19 in your calendar. You want to wear WHITE and bring an appetizer or dessert!! We will have a fun drill for you at 7:30 and then the dance starts at 8:30. This is our Season End Party. We take a break for the summer but are having dances July 10 and Aug 7. And then we resume Sept 11 with Ben McHenry teaching the class!!

Back to June Andrew is having a dance June 20 with the lesson starting at 7:00.
